Festivity on CWM RHONDDA is a jubilant level 3+ handbell setting for 3-6 octaves. It is based on the Welsh hymn tune CWM RHONDDA, which is commonly associated with the texts, “Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah,” and “God of Grace and God of Glory.” After a fanfare-type opening, the first stanza features an optional unison vocal part. Either text may be sung by ringers alone, congregation/audience alone, or everyone. This joyous setting is suitable for concerts, festivals, and church services.
