CGB254 Lamb of God (Agnus Dei)
Description
This original composition for combined handbell and handchime choirs is appropriate any time of year, especially for Holy Communion. The rich, lyrical melody sets a meditative mood enhanced by contemporary harmonies. The musical setting was inspired by the text of the Agnus Dei: "Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us. Grant us peace. Amen." The easy chime part may also be played on a keyboard if chimes are unavailable.
