CGB31 Away in a Manger
Description
This simple, yet beautiful tune is very well suited to handbells. Take great care in preparation of the work so that the melody always predominates over the accompaniment. This is particularly crucial in measures 39-42 where higher notes might tend to cover the melody. The accompaniment (the small notes) must remain of secondary importance.
Voicing: 3 octaves handbells
Arranger: Douglas E. Wagner
Level: 2
