CGB371 Carillon

Description

"Carillon" is an exciting original composition for handbells. The stately opening chords, which are reminiscent of the pealing of church bells, set the mood for this joyous piece. Melodic material is shared by both treble and bass ringers, and the lyrical middle section is introduced by handchimes. The use of various stopped techniques adds to the interest and excitement of the work. This vibrant piece is a welcome addition to both worship and concert settings.
