CGB704 Joy to the World (Handbell Score)
Description
This exciting arrangement may stand alone as a piece for handbells only, or it may be enhanced with optional organ, brass, timpani, choir and/or congregation. A fanfare introduction leads into a joyous opening stanza, followed by a lighter second stanza featuring rhythmic, malleted bass bells and a playful upper treble line. The third stanza uses LVs to create a more legato sound, then an interlude precedes the final stanza, which includes a treble-bell descant. There are no bell changes in this festive addition to the Christmas repertoire.
