Description
This latest publication in the "Flexible Favorites" series is useable throughout the Easter season as well as during Advent, using the alternate title "Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates". The hymntune "Truro" is given a fanfare introduction with full LV chords, then malleted bells accompany the first stanza. The melody moves to the bass in the second stanza, and the use of handchimes is an option. The malleted accompaniment returns for the joyous third stanza, which also features a treble descant. Parts for optional Bb, C, or F treble instrument, or C bass instrument are included.
